Thanks to DasWauto who really helped me out with dealing with Society6. I am really happy with the shirt, and for the price (17$ = 12€, no way I am getting a shirt for that kind of money over here) the quality is more then adequate.

It also should be mentioned that the artist, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! was a pleasure to deal with. Check out his awesome designs, which include the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Once you start shopping car related art, you never stop.

I highly recommend it. It is arty and abstract enough to pass as a normal shirt but identifiable as a car enthusiast piece. Perfect for me.

Ugh, I need so much stuff. Too many interests, not enough time and money. First world problems to the max.

I can't even imagine how much stuff will get shipped to my place once I get a properly paying job. It's going to be a huge post office in here.

Yup. I did that for a while. Now I have too much credit card debt. Get the properly paying job and pay off your cards or you will regret the huge post office full of boxes....

I've put some shirts up on S6 too ! Be aware that the style for the Tri-blend shirts are much more fitted then the standard shirts. Its not a problem if you have 2% body fat, but if you eat too much at thanksgiving you might end up looking like stuff sausage.

Credit cards aren't that common in Europe or Germany in particular, they are seen as mostly business utensils. We rely on PayPal and EC/Maestro Cards, and therefore debts are significantly lower overall. Just a different monetary/spending attitude I guess.

Yeah the McLaren shirt I got was also surprisingly slim fit, but thanks to being forced to work out by my friends I can wear that.

Thanks, it also happens that I study business in the forth semester now, so I know a thing or two about keeping ones financials healthy.

Too much math for my taste, but well, it is necessary.

What is keeping you from studying?

It wouldn't really help me very much right now, and I can't afford to go back to school yet. I studied Computer Network Engineering in college and now I do IT and web development. I tried to run my own business and failed (that's where the debt part comes in) so business school at this point would be mainly for my own edification, wouldn't pay for itself in my career. But I never really minded studying, and I need to get better at math.

I always tend to forget how much studying in the US costs. I pay 50 Euros per semester as a fee...

Too bad that your own business failed, but that happened to many later successful entrepreneurs. Keep your head up!

I always tend to forget how extremely little you guys pay! ;) I typically spent $300 on books and $1,600 on tuition for a three-class quarter at college. Three quarters per year. It adds up quick. And that's for community college, which I don't believe you guys have. You have a Foundation Degree or some nonsense like that which is equivalent...

300$ on books! Are you buying half the library?! I have to buy exactly 2 books this year, and they are 10€ each. The rest is readily available online for free to everyone.

And no, we don't have anything really equivalent to community colleges. Even the lower schools have been upgraded to university level, so no matter what you do, you get a bachelor or even a masters degree.

Yeah, I bought mostly used books too, which ran $80-120 a piece. I actually pirate PDF files of textbooks for my brother, who is currently at the same college. No free eBooks, no new books stocked in the library. His books aren't Microsoft books, so they're a little cheaper but there aren't as many used ones. His run about $60-100 new.

The US needs a serious education reform. I mean come on, that's ridiculous. 100$ a book has got nothing to do with providing quality education, it is pure profit digging.

Kinja'd!!!1

It most certainly is. It's because publishers set the prices for the books, and colleges just mark them up and sell them to us. Caring teachers will let us know if we can use old versions of the book, uncaring teachers will just require we have the latest version because they're too lazy to make up their own tests. The college campus bookstore is around $25-50 per book more expensive than Amazon. How is that acceptable? How can you not at least have one copy in the library for reference? Here's an example of what one might be required to buy for a business math class: http://www.amazon.com/Business-Math-…

I'm gonna go find some car porn before you really get me riled up. No, but really I'm very happy that you have access to education.
